I was a little disappointed with GAOTD when they didn’t post my comment that this software was based on several (uncredited) public domain programs, including pdftk and tesseract-ocr. That said, it did do an excellent job of OCR for me. If you’re interested in a truly freeware equivalent – based on the same freeware toolset – try FreeOcr, hosted at http://www.paperfile.net/

      Hi Graham ,
Thanks for the info on FreeOcr , I would like to try it soon .
Normally GOTD does not censor the comments as far as i know , we can read many crap comments there .Some times your comment had been auto blocked by the Spam protection tools in GOTD . We must use gmail , yahoo , live or other recognized email address when posting , other wise spam guards will block it from being published .Hope you understand .

      Best Regards ,
